I have become a HUGE fan of Mail In Rebates (MIR), they usually have some great value and more times then not you can get great freebies or fabulous money makers (which is even better). Right now there are two really good MIR that are new and make some great deals.

I also place my MIRs in to a separate savings account, and have begun to use them for savings towards vacations, gifts, and other items. It's almost like getting free money (kind of). But I highly recommend using them as often as possible, especially when a really good deal is to be had. Who does not love getting paid to shop, I know I do!
