I do most of the cooking in our house, and I love to cook! And I LOVE to use fresh herbs as much as possible, but those things are expensive. So, I decided to save a ton of money to start growing my own. And herbs are a great way to start gardening. They are pretty industrial and can survive through quite a bit!
I have planted some of our most used herbs: Cilantro, Basil, & Jalapeños, and I also started growing my own tomatoes. I think I am going to plant some onions as well. This is a great way to save money, it costs a bit up front, but not too badly. But then you can reap the rewards for months to come, saving you tons out of pocket in the end.
