2nd Shopping Trip This Week

I try not to shop more than once a week. But - with the kids out of school, it's made it a little more difficult to shop. The other day I went to CVS and because my kids were fighting and I was getting frustrated I ended up spending $9.00 OOP instead of the $3, I had intended. Granted, I know 9 bucks but still, and then I didn't even get everything I went for. So, here's the rest of this weeks shopping expedition:

SEDANO'S
This store is located in a couple of areas around Orlando area. Recently they changed their coupon policy to no longer accept Internet Coupons, which really bummed me out. BUT they have great sales on meat and produce and this week is no exception. Even if you have to drive 20 mins or so to get to them I would say this week is definitely worth it.

Let me just say that all the meat I am listing below is absolutely priced at stockpile worthy prices. So, I filled my deep freeze!

10lbs Chicken Brsts @ $1.79lb -That is an amazing price for chicken breasts!!
          Total = $17.91

10.8 lbs Porst Shoulder Breasts (cut in cubes) @ $.99lb
           Total = 10.81

4.96 lbs Turkey Brsts (cubbed) @ $.99lb
            Total = $4.92

3.85 lb Yellow Onions @ $.99lb
            Total = $3.81

3lb Bag of Gala Apples @ $.99lb - GREAT Price for Apples
            Total = $3.99

1 Green Pepper @ $.79lb
            Total = $$.58

2.63 lb Peaches @ $.79lb
            Total = $1.63

1 Watermelon $2.99ea
             Total = $2.99

1 bag Red Potatoes (2/$1.99)
             Total = $1.00

Grand Total = $49.96 (I know this sounds like a lot, but I budget for around $40/mth for meat, this will last us for at least a month, and I was running low on meat right now. Plus I bought quite a bit in produce, which we were also needing. I had been waiting for a couple of weeks for some good sales to come along. And finally here they are!)

Unfortunately Sedano's does not show anywhere how much I saved. But I know just based regular prices I did well.

CVS Coupons

I apologize for being MIA recently. Our computer is currently dead, and the back up one is VERY slow and tends to lock up very easily. So, I have to make this a quick annoucement otherwise I won't get this out and may have to start all over.

Yesterday I went to CVS and scanned my card at the Coupon Center and received a 10% off coupon, BUT the catch is that it cannot be used on sale items. I ended up using mine on 3 gallons of milk, plus used ECB and paid $1.83 OOP. You'll want to use it on items that you may need and then use ECB to get a good deal.

Today I went back to CVS to use the 10% off Q, scanned my card and received a $2 off Bounty Paper Towels 6pk or larger. The only coupon I can find at the moment is $.75 off Bounty to match-up with the store coupon. BUT Bounty 8 pk is on sale for $6.97, use both Qs and get an 8pk of paper towels for $4.22, that's a pretty good savings.
